O! tiny moth that drifts upon the night,
What do you seek beyond this warming light?
From moon to stars to the sun at dawn,
All that you once knew now is gone.

This butterfly that floats upon the breeze
Landing in the shadows under the trees,
Then taking off flying into the west
Following the sun and never to rest.

These two heroes will live out their days
Continuing to fly their separate ways.
Gladly to meet if ever they could,
These two fairies of kindred blood.
